Data controller
Sarmal Girişim Sermayesi Yatırım Ortaklığı Inc. (Nispetiye Cad. No: 26, Etiler, Istanbul) is the data controller under Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK).
Data processed and purposes
- Startup application form: Founders' identity, contact and professional information and company details; evaluating the application and providing feedback
- Pitch deck and supporting documents: Company and product information; the investment review process. These documents are kept confidential and reviewed only by the investment team and committee members
- Startup readiness test answers: Answers are not stored on the server; they are calculated only in your browser
- Newsletter subscription: Your email address, for insights and event announcements
- Website data: Cookie and IP records
Legal grounds and transfers
Your data is processed on the grounds of explicit consent, establishment of a contract and legitimate interest. Your application is shared only with investment committee members and legal counsel who are under confidentiality obligations. No transfers are made to third parties.
Retention
Declined applications are kept for 24 months; documents relating to accepted investments are kept for the statutory periods.
